holly squareI’m Holly. I am a children’s librarian in southern Wisconsin, and I love everything about youth services, especially early literacy, art/maker/STEAM programming, and reading teen books. This blog was started as a way to archive what I am doing and share my ideas.

I am part of the administrative team of the Library as Incubator Project, and love sharing how libraries and artists can work together. I am also a Joint Chief at Storytime Underground, and a founding member of WisCode Literati.

A note about content: There are approximately 50 bajillion children’s librarians’ blogs out there about storytimes. And they are GREAT! I always borrow, adapt, and learn from other awesome librarians’ ideas when I am planning my storytimes. That said, I don’t feel the need to document every single storytime plan that I do. I’ll share here my un-ordinary ones (bilingual storytime, for example) or something really spectacular, but I’ll mostly focus on other programs.
